A hurried hello

I took these photos (in a hurry) a couple of weeks ago as I was heading off to work.  I wasn't going to upload them, but the dress is sooo cute - though I think it ultimately should be hemmed a little bit - and I have been too busy to take new outfit photos the past couple of days, so I decided to post them.

Outfit Details:
Pink day dress: Great Lake Outfitters
White belt: ASOS
White flats: ASOS

I was actually looking for a pink dress to go with a pair of shoes (as always, I do things backwards), but I ended up liking these flats with it a little more than the shoes I'd intended to wear with it.  Great Lake Outfitters shipped this dress super quickly and the measurements were very accurate.  So pleased with this purchase, especially since I'm getting way into pink lately... :)  They have some really great pieces in their Etsy store, so you should definitely go take a look!

I'll take more pictures this week once things have calmed down around here!

Have a wonderful day!

Precipitation and pinafores

I am writing this at the Rochester airport.  I'm popping down to Eastchester for a couple of days.  By the time this is posted, I'll be back, so hopefully I'll be able to take some new outfit photos then (since I'm not bringing my camera with me).  It rained ALL day on Thursday when these were taken (which explains me having to take these indoors), and it was the first occasion where I've actually had to wear tights in a while.  It's been really nice to just have bare legs lately, but since these are polka dot tights, I guess I don't mind them too much.  :)

Outfit Details:
Pinafore: eBay (similar here)
Blouse: thrifted
Tights: ASOS
Emma T-Straps: BAIT footwear

Have a great (and hopefully non-rainy) Monday!

Sealed with a kiss

Outfit Details:
Kiss of Cuteness Romper: ModCloth
Gray long-sleeved bodysuit: Go Jane
Professor of Pop Flat: ModCloth
Heart necklace: ASOS

Okay, so this romper (which is really more like a pair of dungarees than a romper) is probably not one of the more flattering items I own... but it's so darn adorable (and it's by Nishe, my favorite brand!) that I had to keep it.  It's funny how much more comfortable I am in a dress than this romper, though.  Flowy skirts give you some wiggle room (literally!), and this outfit certainly doesn't.  But it's so kitschy and cute!  And I can't resist those things!

The heart-shaped buttons!!!

And obviously, the tongue-in-cheek cheek (hah) embroidery is not lost on me.  I love when designers have a sense of humor in their clothing!

I also really love these cute little flats!

Have a great Thursday!

(Green) Tea and (Baby) Biscuits

Outfit Details:
Mint dress: Chicwish
White flats: ASOS
Bracelet: American Eagle (old)
Baby Biscuit purse: Geek Heaven (Storenvy)

I really love this dress.  The scalloped details are too cute.  And it's hard to tell here, but it's actually a beautiful, light celery color (not a true mint), which is lovely for spring.

I really have no idea what "baby biscuit" means but it's very kawaii and me-sounding, and the bag is literally shaped like a biscuit and has a bow on it.  So, I couldn't NOT get it.

Have a terrific Tuesday!

Absolutely dotty

Outfit Details:
Suspender skirt: Exile Vintage
White button-down: Target (old)
Polka dot hat: ASOS (old)
White flats: Yeswalker
Heart necklace: ASOS (sold out)

I love this vintage suspender skirt!  Exile Vintage has such wonderful things.  Most of their pieces are too small for me (and truth be told, this skirt is *almost* too tight), but I love browsing their shop!  I had bought this hat long before I found the skirt, so when I saw it, I knew I'd have to pair the two together.  I also thought this outfit would be appropriate for Memorial Day, since it's not completely patriotic-looking, but gives just a hint of it.

Have a great Monday!
