  8. Happy birthday

My favorite birthday memory is also apart of one of my saddest. Days earlier a close friend of mine passed away. I was stuck in bed for days crushed by sadness. My now husband kept trying to get me to come over to celebrate my birthday. When I finally got myself over there days later he had an entire room filled with at that point half dead flowers and half deflated balloons and in the middle was a painting he made for me as a gift. It was so heartwarming & my favorite gift and memory❤️
