2025 Mother's Day Gift Guide (+7 Gift Ideas for Mom to Support Your Community)

It's hard for me to believe, but Mother's Day is just 1 month away! Given the current eco-political situation here in the U.S., many of us are trying to curb unnecessary spending and be mindful about what we're supporting—so I've changed the format of this annual gift guide a little bit for this year.

I've compiled some Mother's Day gift ideas, all for under $100, in my 2025 Mother's Day Gift Guide below. (For even more gift ideas for Mother's Day, be sure to check out my 2024 Mother's Day gift guide and 2023 Mother's Day gift guide!)

Additionally, I've added a list of 7 thoughtful Mother's Day gifts that will also support small businesses, local organizations, and sustainability efforts in your area. I've included Rochester, NY gift recommendations for local readers, but please use these ideas as a jumping-off point for your own search!

Please note that this gift guide contains some affiliate links. If you make a purchase after clicking on one of these links, I may earn a small commission that helps run my blog. I aim to promote brands I truly love and that align with my values. Thank you for supporting The Soubrette Brunette!

Friday Favorites #167: Mother's Day Gift Guide 2023

Long time, no see! It's not always easy to keep up with blogging on the regular, but I do like to share things when I can. (If you're missing my posts, I'm more active on Instagram and TikTok these days – but I'll never leave this blog behind!)

I just looked at the calendar and realized that Mother's Day is just a few weeks away. I enjoy gift-giving in general, but I especially love shopping for my mom. Finding the perfect present brings me a lot of joy.

But since I know not everyone feels the same way about gift-giving, I thought I'd put together a little Mother's Day gift guide to provide some inspiration. (You can also check out my previous Mother's Day gift guides for even more gift ideas!) Take a look at my 2023 Mother's Day gift guide below and start shopping for the mama or mother figure in your life.

Friday Favorites #160: Mother's Day Gift Guide

This month has gone by so quickly! I just realized that Mother's Day is right around the corner, so I decided to put together a little gift guide for today's Friday Favorites. I've already gotten a few things for my own mom (her birthday is only a week away, too)... but now I'm wondering whether I should add a couple more to my cart...

Friday Favorites #130: Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is right around the corner, so today's Friday Favorites is all about finding the perfect gifts for the mamas in our lives. I love searching for unique gifts for the people I love, and because my mom and I are so close, I sometimes enjoy shopping for her more than I do for myself (well, almost). Although I usually get her flowers on Mother's Day, I try to combine the traditional with the unexpected. Here are some fresh ideas that caught my eye:

In addition to the gift guide above, I just had to include these adorable Girl Gang greeting cards and matchboxes from Ettatorials! I love the idea of having a girl gang (especially now that I have friends who are mommies!), and the concept of repurposing old photos into cute little gifties and as ways to keep in touch with those we care about is such a wonderful one. My mom is one of my best friends, so not only would these be lovely Mother's Day cards, but a set of 4 would make for a perfect present!

Krissy from Ettatorials also sent me two of her matchboxes, which would make a great addition to a guest room or powder room (especially for a candle lover, like my own mom). Krissy just launched her Girl Gang collection, but she has lots of other goodies available in her shop – and she's offering my readers 10% off when you enter SOUBRETTE10 at checkout!

I'll actually be performing on Mother's Day this year, so we'll have to celebrate whenever we can. Do you have any fun Mother's Day traditions? I love hearing about what other families do!

Have a wonderful weekend!

Mama Day

Steven and I were able to snap some photos on this beautiful Mother's Day afternoon.  This river and park are close to the nearest train station.  We were hoping to see some goslings (they're our favorite), but we only saw one lone goose!  The scenery is so pretty here, though.

Outfit Details:
Together and Apartment Dress: ModCloth
White cardigan: dELiA*s
Charm bracelet: Urban Outfitters
Sandals: DSW (old)

Although I had a very nice time with Steven's family, I was still a little sad that I couldn't spend Mother's Day with my mom.  However, she and I were featured in a Mother's Day article in the paper here (and our picture was on the front page - eek!), so that was kind of special, even from afar... though I think I'm much better with posed photos than I am with candids (or quasi-candids)...

Hope your Mother's Day was lovely, and hope your today is too!
