I'm living for the weekends these days, so I'm really glad it's finally Friday again. I did most of my Christmas shopping during the Black Friday bonanza, so I'm [mostly] on a bit of a shopping ban... unless I see something I just have to have... ;) Here are some of the things I'm coveting this week:
The red version of these heels haven't arrived at ModCloth yet (they'll eventually be available in 4 different colors), but I'm eventually going to need a pair of these scalloped beauties!
I love these scalloped holiday-worthy heels, too!
Christmas party dress alert!
This snowman sweater is so cute!
These Christmas shoes are tacky in the best way possible:
I might need these pjs (and matching stocking)!
It's sort of too late for this year, but I really do want this inappropriate Hanukkah sweatshirt:
I adore this present purse!
I want to get one of these cat packs for Pumpkin!
You can read more about them here and find the full assortment on Amazon.
This coat is everything:
If you really wanna #treatyoself this holiday, you can order these amazing Star Wars themed ice creams online! This company also has some other amazing-sounding flavors.
I've really been struggling with anxiety lately, and I've been hearing so much about these types of adult coloring books and how they can help. These two are on my wish list for Christmas, but let me know if you might have other recommendations!
These illustrations by Philippa Rice are wonderful. I really want her book.

Three really good reads from this week:
The Five Stages of Ghosting Grief – this is all too real!

How To Hygge (Or: 29 Ways To Actually Enjoy Winter) – although I'm not ready for the cold, these ideas make the thought of wintertime sound much more bearable!
(image via) |
The Radical Potential Of A Woman Crying In Public – as a woman who cries a LOT, I found this incredibly captivating.

And finally (speaking of crying), I love this story of a husband writing down things that made his wife cry. So sweet and funny!

Have a great weekend!

That article about crying was amazing! I'd never thought of crying that way, I have to admit. I'm definitely bookmarking that article.
ReplyDeleteIn terms of coloring books, those are two really great ones! I actually sell a lot of them at my bookstore. My favorites are The Time Garden, and the Secret Garden, which is a huge bestseller. The publishers of Secret Garden just put out an artists edition of it, with the same drawings but printed on nice, single-sided cardstock, which means you can use heavier colors on them (like watercolor, markers, acryllic, etc) and then hang the pictures on your wall! It's absolutely gorgeous.

Thank you so much for the suggestions! Those ones look the best! And isn't that article great??
DeleteLovely Bait shoes! And I just saw that cocktail dress by Lindy Bop today! I love it! And LOL that Star Wars ice cream! :D I'm also on a buying though. I love the Christmas sales but sometimes I guess they don't love me back ;)
ReplyDeleteI love the scalloped Modcloth heels. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteAs for colouring books, I love Millie Marotta's Animal Kingdom, and Tropical Wonderland books, and the Secret Garden byJohanna Basford, which I'd recommend if you're looking for pretty animals and nature pictures to colour in. Hope that helps! xx
Thank you so much for the suggestions!! I'm going to look into those first two, since I hadn't heard of them before! <3
DeleteThe star wars ice cream is adorable! I could see this being a big hit for boys as a Christmas treat!
