Flamingo dress: Sourpuss Clothing
Name necklace: c/o Onecklace
BAIT Footwear spectators: ModCloth
Happy Sunday! I meant to post these photos yesterday, but this weekend ended up being a little busier than I'd anticipated, and I didn't have time! Isn't this dress adorable? It's my first dress from Sourpuss Clothing, and I love so much about it -- the mint & pink color combination, the ric-rac trim, and of course, the little flamingo embroidery! The material of this dress is quite thin (and unlined), which can be a plus on hot summer days, but I usually like a little more structure in my dresses. I was left wishing that I had a wide pink belt for some waist emphasis, but I was thrilled that my pink spectators match perfectly!
Have a great rest of your weekend!

You look so gorgeous!! I'm glad you did a blog post with this dress! It is perfect on you. I haven't ordered it yet, but seeing it on you (again) really makes me want to go ahead and do it, ha.
ReplyDeleteAn adorable dress. You always find the cutest things! Hope the busy weekend was a good busy :)
ReplyDeleteOh, those shoes... how I wish I knew if my narrow feet could keep them on. So difficult to buy BAIT in the UK, after one attempt and £15 in wasting shipping costs returning them it's put me off now. But they're so pretty!!
ReplyDeleteOh no! I know BAIT actually has a UK-based site, so you could order directly from that (rather than from the US), but admittedly, I'm not sure how much shipping costs are. I also can't speak to how well they would fit narrow feet (mine are average width, I'd say). But they are beautiful and I hope you can somehow manage to get a pair!
DeleteI love this dress- the colors are perfect and so many fun details! Flamingos have always been a favorite of mine and I'm so happy to see them popping up on things :)
ReplyDeleteI've never owned anything with flamingos on it before, but this may very well jump-start a little collection! They're so adorable!
Deletecute!:) xx

This dress is gorgeous. Also, hi. I found your blog from something I clicked on on modCloth and became obsessed with your fashion sense (in a very safe, non-creepy, stalker-type way!) So, you have a new blog reader. *wave* I don't have a fashion blog, but I love to read a handful of them to get ideas. ;) (beyondelsewhere.ca)
ReplyDeleteCat - thank you so much! You are too sweet. So glad you found me! :)
DeleteI love this color on you. I have been gravitating towards thinner unlined dresses lately simply because of the heat. I think this dress looks great without a belt!
ReplyDeleteSimply adorable! The colors are totally you and the flamingo is an awesome bonus <3
ReplyDeleteThis sure is very sweet. Love it. The flamingo detailing is just the best
ReplyDeleteSuper cute and it fits you so well in all the right places. I adore pink flamingo's so this dress is right up my alley! Lov it girlie!

Oh my gosh! I've had my eye on this dress for awhile, I'm so glad you got it! I may or may not have two pink flamingos for my yard, they're kind of an obsession of mine. Love it on you, looks amazing as always! <3 Mariah
ReplyDeleteThat dress is gorgeous! I love the colors and how bright they are! Perfect for the summer months!

I'm loving that color combination and that little flamingo is just too cute!
ReplyDeleteI just love the gorgeous colors in this dress and the fun little flamingo on it. I keep thinking it'd be the perfect piece to wear in Las Vegas! It looks adorable on you.

You're so right, Jamie! Weirdly, someone from Vegas.com contacted me about this post... hahah
DeleteOoo the pastel watermelon color scheme is my fave! You and your dress are both beautiful! I have a pink and black skulls dress from Sourpuss. This dress also reminds me a lot of some Hell Bunny dresses I've seen!
ReplyDeleteI love this dress is so lovely, and the colors fascinate me, and you look gorgeous like always with your hair ;)
ReplyDeleteI love that the flamingo print is a less traditional one in the sense that its the lawn ornament rather then the animal, it makes it even more kitsch. I also love that color combination, of the minty turquoise and the pink. Im going to have to check out that clothing label because from what I can see they carry some cute stuff.
