bernie dexter manor paris dress

Well, it's officially winter here! We finally got some snow, and I'm sure more is on the way. I don't mind a little bit of cold weather, but my fingers are crossed that this winter won't be anywhere near as awful as it was last year. Luckily, I have pretty dresses to get me through. As soon as I saw the sneak peeks of this Bernie Dexter Rococo print dress, I knew it belonged on my body. Plus, it pairs perfectly with this enchanted carriage brooch from Deer Arrow and my new Miss L-Fire boots!

This week is going to be a bit hectic, as we're in the midst of rehearsals for the show we're putting together with 1 week of rehearsals. It's going to be really fun though (it's such a cute little play), and a really great challenge. My best friend (who's also directing the show) and I did a little interview on TV for it last week, so I'm hoping both the response and turn-out for the show will be good. (If you're interested in watching it, you can find it here!) In general, there are a few really fun things coming up for me, which definitely makes the winter a bit more bearable.

Have a great start to your week!

  1. Ugghhh I am now suffering from painful flashbacks to last winter. I sure hope it's not as severe, though some snow would be nice!! I love this dress on you and what cute little booties!! So cute!

  2. I've been eyeing those shoes! So lovely! Also, 25% off at Bernie Dexter! I want to go shopping! :D

  3. You look amazing in this!!! I love the brooch and the dress!x

  4. Wow I just adore this Bernie beautiful! :)

  5. How are those shoes? I'm worried about the fit but I really like how they look!

    1. They run a little big, but if I wear them with low socks or thicker tights, I don't even notice. I own only one other pair of Miss L-Fires, so I'm not super familiar with how they normally run, but I'd be hesitant to order a half size down from my normal size for fear of them being uncomfortable! As they are, they're quite comfy and don't slip off my feet or anything. Hope this helps! <3

  6. Wow! this is such an adorable outfit, t was definitely made for you! You paired it so well with your brooch and boots! we are just getting out first official BIG snowfall today in Canada, and my fingers are crossed too, hoping the winter is better than last!

  7. That dress is a work of art. I'm a perpetual sucker for anything rococo related, so it's fair to say I nearly fainted when I first saw this stunner. Sooo gorgeous and so wonderfully styled here, too, I should add. :)

    Oodles of hugs,
    ♥ Jessica
