Seriously though, I need to get rid of a bunch of stuff. Not only have I added TONS of stock (some true vintage and a lot of repro/modern, plus purses, brooches, and even a couple of phone cases) but I've also lowered the prices on most items that have been sitting in my store for a while. So you have no excuse not to at least look! Head on over to my Shop My Closet store and take a look at what's available!

Shop My Closet Update!
It's that time again! I'm clearing out my closet because: 1) I have way too many clothes, obviously and 2) I'm headed down to New Orleans in less than two weeks (my girls' trip with Ashley! Yay!), which means that I'm in need of funds (we'll just pretend I'm not going to buy any new dresses while I'm there...).

Peonies
The Tree Peony Festival takes place every year at Linwood Gardens, but my mom and I had never been before. I knew we had to make the trip this year, though. Linwood is an absolutely beautiful estate with a huge selection of Japanese and American tree peonies. The garden is private, but they open it up during the festival and some other days throughout the summer. We spent the most tranquil morning there exploring! And of course, I had to wear this pale pink Bernie Dexter dress to match my surroundings. :)

It's A Small World
I find myself uttering, "what a small world!" at least once a week. It really, really is. Which makes me love the Disney ride all the more. In my eyes, the only bad thing about the It's A Small World ride is that I don't live closer to it! So when Jackie from Atomic Jax asked if I'd like to review her "Small World" skirt, I leapt at the chance. At least I can pretend I'm only a hop, skip, and a jump away – if only the world were that small!
Outfit Details

Estelle Blouse in Ivory: c/o Heart of Haute

Friday Favorites #150
It's been quite a while since I had the chance to put together a Friday Favorites post, but I'm finally back and sharing a few of my favorite things today!
These Mexican cuisine-themed Kate Spade bags are the cutest.
But really, what more does a girl need than churros and the Haunted Mansion?
I might need this Twin Peaks brooch:
How beautiful is this Too Faced Natural Love palette?
This seashell compact is perfect for the mermaid in your life.
I'm obsessed with this adorable swimsuit!
And this striped dress is the cutest.
As are these pieces from Unique Vintage's circus collection:
I'm totally taken with these sweet shoes!
I really love this cute cat post.
And this Bernie Dexter space dress is out of this world!
Have a great weekend!

Mahjong Tiles
Trashy Diva may have just launched their newest collection, Birds of a Feather, but I'm still stuck on a slightly older print that I've come to like a lot. I styled one of the Mahjong print skirts back in the fall, but I had forgotten to order up a size and the skirt didn't get much wear as a result. I decided to try the Annette dress in this print (which just restocked on the Trashy Diva site!), and I'm so glad I did.

Annette Dress in Mahjong: Trashy Diva (purchased from Cognito Clothing)
This past weekend was a lot of fun. I went to the market, went to a pool party with friends from work, and watched the Tony Awards. But it was also really weird/sad. My entire swimsuit collection is just gone (we've looked everywhere at my apartment and at my parents' house) and I'm pretty upset about it. I spent years collecting really hard-to-find, amazing suits that can't be replaced – literally, since they aren't made anymore – and I'm not really sure what to do now other than be sad. I know they're just clothes in the end and there are far more important things. I'm trying to keep some perspective, but they also meant something to me. I guess I'm going to have to gather up more things to sell so I can afford to get at least a couple of new suits this summer. What else can you do but try to start anew?
Have a great Wednesday,
